Fix it once, for everyone
At the Genius Bar I had a few minutes to find what was wrong and keep the customer on my side. In IT teams the same questions came back every day. So now I fix the question, not the ticket.
Off the clock
- Rides
I was born in Amsterdam and have been an Apple fan since I was twelve. I started as a school intern at iCentre, an Apple reseller in Amstelveen, and stayed nine years: first in sales, then running the technical department.
Outside work I ride motorcycles. My dad has ridden all his life and has had all kinds of bikes; I ride a Honda X-ADV, and we often head out together. I also love watchmaking: hundreds of tiny parts that only work because each one is exactly right. I once thought about training as a watchmaker; Watchy is what came of that.
