The problem it solves
A local business with a weak or missing website rarely knows what it is missing, and sending cold mail by hand is slow. LeadForge looks for the businesses that would really gain from a new site, analyses their online presence, builds a replacement site as a starting point and writes the first message based on what it found. Then it keeps track of replies. A side project, on my own time.
What I built
- Finds and analyses businesses with a real website problem
- Builds a tailored replacement website you can edit and share
- Writes the first message from what it found, then tracks replies, deals and results
Result
Built for a friend and handed over about 90% done. In demo mode it finds businesses and generates their websites; the live APIs, outreach and AI still need to be connected.
How I built it
A friend needed a way to find local businesses with a weak or missing website, and to approach them with something better than a cold email.
LeadForge searches an area, checks each business’s online presence, generates a replacement website and keeps a simple pipeline. It’s the biggest stack here: Next.js and React on the front, FastAPI, PostgreSQL and Redis behind it.
I built and tested it in demo mode, where it works end to end, and handed it over before the paid APIs, the outreach and the AI were connected. It’s the project where AI helped me most to learn parts I didn’t know yet.
Try it like this
- Open the dashboard (“Admin”) and look at the businesses it found.
- Open one business to see the analysis and the outreach message.
- Open “Site Studio” to see the website it generated.
